There will be free flu vaccinations at South Ranchito DLA - Thursday, November 12, 2015.

This year's annual Harvest Festival will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 28th from 3:30-6:30pm. There will be food, games, prizes, a haunted cafeteria, and a costume contest! Bring the whole family down for a night of fun!

Red Ribbon is a week where people, schools, and communities unite and take a visible stand against drugs. October is also Safe Schools Month and it is Bully Prevention Month as well. Many school tie Red Ribbon Week in with Bully Prevention, too. At South Ranchito, Red Ribbon Week is a week where we focus on healthy habits, healthy choices, and pledge to be DRUG-FREE.
This year’s the motto is: RESPECT YOURSELF, BE DRUG FREE
Monday, October 26: “Sock it to Drugs” day- wear crazy socks
Tuesday, October 27: “My Future is Bright without Drugs” day - wear sunglasses
Wednesday, October 28: “Turn your back on Drugs” day- wear your blouse/shirt backwards
Thursday, October 29: “Team up Against Drugs” day-wear your favorite sports team. Essay due.
Friday, October 30: “Say No to Drugs” day- wear red


The DAC/DELAC provides a communication forum to share interests, experiences, knowledge and concerns with each other as well as a forum to receive current information regarding programs, new initiatives, and other current issues of importance to the education of students. It is intended that the information discussed and reports provided are then shared back at each site at the respective School Site Council meetings.
El DAC / DELAC proporciona un foro de comunicación para compartir intereses, experiencias, conocimientos y preocupaciones entre sí, así como un foro para recibir información actualizada sobre los programas, nuevas iniciativas, y otros temas de actualidad de importancia para la educación de los estudiantes. Se pretende que la información discutida y los informes presentados se compartan con nuestra escuela durante las reuniones del Concilio Escolar.
