RED RIBBON WEEK
Red Ribbon is a week where people, schools, and communities unite and take a visible stand against drugs. October is also Safe Schools Month and it is Bully Prevention Month as well. Many school tie Red Ribbon Week in with Bully Prevention, too. At South Ranchito, Red Ribbon Week is a week where we focus on healthy habits, healthy choices, and pledge to be DRUG-FREE.
This year’s the motto is: RESPECT YOURSELF, BE DRUG FREE
Monday, October 26: “Sock it to Drugs” day- wear crazy socks
Tuesday, October 27: “My Future is Bright without Drugs” day - wear sunglasses
Wednesday, October 28: “Turn your back on Drugs” day- wear your blouse/shirt backwards
Thursday, October 29: “Team up Against Drugs” day-wear your favorite sports team. Essay due.
Friday, October 30: “Say No to Drugs” day- wear red
