South Ranchito Elementary

Welcome to the South Ranchito website.

The mission of our school, in partnership with the community, is to provide a quality education that encourages creative and critical thinking in a supportive environment. We are committed to providing an enriched curriculum with high expectations for all students which emphasizes standards based instruction necessary for the technological and cultural challenges of the 21st century. Our commitment is to prepare students to be productive citizens and lifelong learners in a culturally diverse and technologically advanced society.

The South Ranchito school community of parents, students, teachers and support staff is an amazing group of dedicated individuals who work together to create a positive environment for all to learn and grow.

Teachers at South Ranchito are continually involved in professional development, and this year we will be able to take advantage of the new Modified Day schedule every Wednesday. This will guide us in improving our knowledge and skills as educators.

Our staff is looking forward to completing a full year of the Response to Instruction (RTI) Process during our Language Arts Block.

We are proud to be one of two schools in our district that is implementing Full Day Kindergarten this year.

I am looking forward to a successful school year where we continue to work collaboratively to increase student achievement and instill a love of learning into the lives of all South Ranchito Bulldogs.
